What a Day looks like
This schedule is meant to give you an example of your child’s day. Actual times and activities may vary depending on time of the year, weather, age, and temperament of the children. Age appropriate activities are scheduled with flexibility which allows us to respond to the needs of each individual child and their various ages.
Good Morning!
7:30 AM: Drop-offs, welcome children, free-play and/or structured-play, trains, story-time, etc.
*8:30AM: Breakfast, clean up, toilet time if needed
9:00AM: Circle time, toilet time, if needed
9:15 AM: Outdoor or indoor activities free play (small group/one on one time)
*10:30 AM: Snack time
11:00 AM: Preschool/learning activities, arts and crafts (one on one time)
- *12:00 PM: Lunch time, toilet time, if needed and clean up.
Good Afternoon!
12:40 PM: Story time
1:00 PM: Rest-time and/or quiet-time
*3:00 PM: Afternoon snack, toilet time, if needed
3:30 PM: Outdoor or indoor activities (small group/one on one time)
4:00 PM: Study time for older children to include coloring, play-dough, toys, story time, etc. (small group/one on one time)
5:30 PM: Dismissal
This schedule is flexible to meet the needs of each child. Infants follow their own schedule for napping, diapering and feeding.
* denotes the feeding time according to the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) Child and Adult Care Food Program.

We are part of Montgomery County Food Program providing a balanced diet that meets all nutritional standards for optimal comprehensive development for the children who are part of the program

Healthy Beginnings is a resource aligned with the Maryland’s Early Learning Standards to help you nurture the tremendous potential for learning and growth that every child has. Specifically designed for the care of infants and toddlers from birth through age three, Healthy Beginnings gives you knowledge and support about child care and child development.
The curriculum encourages children to develop the potential have to obtain optimal physical and intellectual developmenent.
The objective is for children to lean through creative expression and play, to develop both physically and intellectually.
